About the artist
An interest in perception lies at the core of my practice. I am interested in how we experience and understand the world through seeing, hearing and memory, and how these processes influence the way we interpret what is around us.
My work moves between different media, including painting, installation and interactive projects. I often start from a simple question or observation, which I translate into a visual or spatial experience. Through this, I explore how meaning shifts between perception, interpretation and interaction.
Gigant, Apeldoorn (2024)
My work was exhibited in a gallery space at Gigant, as part of a broader exhibition, where it was shown alongside other young artists.
Ramenroute Zwolle – The Big Draw Nederland (2025)
I took part in a city-wide drawing event where artists created drawings on windows throughout Zwolle. I drew on two windows as part of a bigger whole, where all the drawings came together across the city. Visitors could walk through the city to follow the route and view all the windows.
Kunstbende Gelderland (2025)
I participated in an art competition that brings young artists together, where I was part of a large group exhibition.
Bar Taboe, Zwolle (Oct 2025 – Apr 2026)
My work was exhibited in a bar and restaurant, where it became part of an intimate setting. This way, I was able to get a sense of how the public experiences and responds to my work. The exhibition included an etching and a collage.
